Welcome

I’m glad you’re here. I believe therapy works best when it feels relational and steady, with room to move at a pace that feels right to you. Much of my work focuses on understanding how people adapt to their environments—and how searching for something different is often part of that process.

My name is Amanda. I’m a social worker with a private psychotherapy practice offering virtual therapy across Ontario, Canada. I take a holistic, nervous-system and trauma-informed approach that considers the body, mind, and lived experience together.

Therapy with me is collaborative and paced with care. We’ll explore different ways of working and build a plan that supports your whole system. I value clarity, flexibility, and choice, and I work in ways that fit your life rather than asking you to fit a particular model.

If you’re curious about whether this feels like the right fit, you’re welcome to take a look around or reach out with questions. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out before starting.

Supporting People

People arrive in therapy for many different reasons. Some of the concerns that often bring people in include:

  • Addiction and substance use

  • Anxiety and ongoing stress

  • Crisis support and periods of acute stress

  • Depression and low mood

  • Disordered eating

  • Emotion regulation and feeling overwhelmed

  • Grief and loss

  • Life transitions and periods of change

  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

  • Parenting challenges and family dynamics

  • Personality-related patterns

  • Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

In some situations, I may request collaboration with your primary care provider.
